The following book review is from Reform Magazine (Reform 1 May 2002):
"This is a very difficult age-group to write for, but this book is excellently done. The problems are the problems any 11 year old might face… The God-bit is introduced very gently as the lead character who attends the village church is on the one hand teased by her friend, who decides he is an atheist, and on the other hand spends time with her trendy Aunt, who attends a thriving all-singing, all-dancing church in the nearby town. All Change doesn’t offer easy answers and doesn’t underestimate the confusion and disorientation that young people feel as they enter teenage-hood. If this book is a fair representative of the series then they’ll be good books for any young teenager to find lying around to read when nobody else is looking".
